Thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate St. Pat's with us. We are currently regrouping and writing new music. We plan to be back on a stage near you soon! Please take a moment and sign up for our website and newsletter in order to keep up to date with all things Pug!
Special thanks to Kelly Gras, Eva Edukonis from Blue Eye Creative, and the guy from the Bellevue Fire Hall whose name escapes me (if anyone knows let me know so I can give him proper thanks) for all the great photos of our March debauchery!! ONCE AGAIN THANK YOU ALL!!!

This was Jeff's job dammit. Kinda funny though, Jeff leaves and we get some TV time. Coincidence? I think not. =] On January 15th and 16th at 9 AM your favorite Irish band ( no not The Saw Doctors us!) is going to be appearing on a show called 'All That Matters' on Time Warner Channel 13. We are gonna play a couple of songs and get interviewed for the spot. Set your DVR and check it out. What better way to kick off a new and hopefully more productive New Year than with a TV gig. I like 2009 already... -TPM- |

Wow Time flies by! For the second year in a row TPM has 2 nominations for the Buffalo Music Awards. The band is nominated for 'Best Original Rock Band' and Captain Mike for 'Best Male Vocalist'. Let's see if we can come out on top this year. The plaque sure would look nice on the old bandroom wall. Everyone knows our fans are the best in Buffalo, and I wish we could give you all a plaque to hang on your wall for all the shots and drunken nights we have spent together. Please take a few minutes and give us a nod @ http://bestofwny.com Thanks to everyone for all your support these past 2 years!!

Yes you're eyes are not tricking you. We are pulling out all the stops these days. Even with everyones crazy schedule we somehow managed to get ourselves a really cool weekday gig. OK well our new friend Tom Barone at ESI Artists got us a really cool weekday gig anyway. If you have never stopped by Desi's South for a drink, this is the time to do it. This place has a great stage, great lighting, and unbelievable sound! Desi's has donned Wednesday nights SHAM-ROCK WEDNESDAYS and you are gonna get a good dose of Irish music every wednesday for the near future. Come Raise a lager with us on Sept 17th and let Desi's know what a great idea Sham-Rock Wednesdays is!! Hope to see everyone there!! |

Wow we've been busy. Shows or not The Pug Mahones are growing by leaps and bounds these days. In the last month we've added a new member, Scott Panfil. This guy is one of the best musicians I have ever met. The man plays guitar, accordian, whistles, harmonica, piano, bass etc. etc. If that's not enough he's also an unbelievable singer and just an all around nice guy. Oh yeah did I mention in his spare time he's a clown? No I'm not yanking your chain, he can make pirate sword balloons, I swear! On the business front it looks like we are going to be working with a booking agent who will be getting us more shows, and taking care of all the legwork that none of us ever wants to do. This means you get to spend more time raisin a lager with us, which I know we are looking forward to. We haven't spent nearly enough time with our loyal friends and fans in the past few months. More news on this to come soon... Jeez I almost forgot, come celebrate the bands recent addition and good fortune!!! |
